Topic: From Transition to Transformation: providing scholarly content and services in tumultuous times

The speakers will explore how the pace of change in the scholarly communication sector has accelerated as a result of the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The programme is announced.

This year’s event will take place online over two consecutive half days, Wednesday 11th November: 9am GMT to approx. 1pm and Thursday 12th November: 1.30pm GMT to 5pm.

IFLA SOCRS section is organizing a virtual conference about International OA practices with six speakers who will discuss the Open Library of Humanities, research database integration of open access content in Iran, open access mandates and policies of Latin American countries, and the Research4Life program. ALPSP Virtual Conference and Awards 2020

Theme: the legacy of COVID-19 on scholarly communication.

Virtual OpenRepositories OR2020 meetings

The Open Repositories annual conference will be held under the form of four 90 minute virtual workshops. The first one will focus on the work FAIRsFAIR (Fostering Fair Data Practices in Europe) carries out in collaboration with repositories  to enable them to play their role in helping to make and keep data FAIR over time.
