Pyne: Are universities complicit in predatory publishing?
PrintThe growth of predatory journals is now impossible to ignore. Some universities have policies against them, but others chose to turn a blind eye to this problem. One of the reasons to explain this behavior could be that authors and universities find some benefits in this situation and, contrary to popular belief, cannot be qualified as “victims” of those journals.
