This conference will focus on a number of relevant topics for the ISSN Network, e.g. Research assessment, Scholarly communications role in the sustainable development goals, Governance of open science and Science discoverability.

Dr. Gaelle Bequet, Director of the ISSN International Centre, will give a presentation on Dec. 8th about the Project JASPER that aims to provide sustainable archiving solutions for OA journals.

Dr Gaëlle Béquet, Director of ISSN International Centre, will participate in a panel session titled Strategic Frontiers in Digital Preservation that will take place on 3 November. In this session, the perspectives of libraries, publishers, and service providers will be explored on key strategic digital preservation issues. Participants will learn about recent initiatives and hear expert reflections on the fundamental requirements to ensure that scholarly material is adequately preserved in efficient and cost-effective ways for future scholars.

The ISSN International Centre has been invited to attend ABES Annual Conference in Montpellier, France (12-13 October). Nathalie Cornic, Head of Metadata and Technical Coordination of the ISSN Network, will also give a presentation at the SUDOC PS Network Meeting to be held on 14 October 2021.
