The journal Serials Librarian has just released an article about the future of ISSN written by Gaëlle Béquet, ISSN IC Director, and John Akeroyd, consultant with CiberResearch. This article reports on the global survey of ISSN users that was undertaken in 2018 to inform ISO experts working on the revision of ISSN standard. Director of ISSN International Centre to chair 2019 ISO TC46 Annual Meeting (6-10 May 2019, Ottawa, Canada)
Gaëlle Béquet, Director of the ISSN International Centre, will chair the 2019 ISO TC46 Annual Meeting hosted by Library and Archives Canada/Bibliothèque et Archives Canada. The program includes a meeting of ISO TC46/SC9/WG5 experts who will discuss the outcomes of the 2019 DIS ballot regarding the ISSN standard ISO 3297.
