The National Library of Colombia will host the first meeting of the Latin American Group for ISSN on Tuesday, September 5th. Representatives from the ISSN National Centres located in Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico, Republica Dominicana, and Uruguay will participate. The main objectives of this group are to share experience at the regional level and discuss specific issues with the ISSN International Centre and the ISSN Network at large.
The ISSN International Centre is currently enhancing its services which will include a new interface to request ISSN assignments and a new web portal to access ISSN data more easily. A presentation will be given on Wednesday 23 August at 1.00 p.m. at IFLA Expo Pavilion / Lab. Visit us also on booth A120.
The ISSN International Centre will be exceptionally closed on Monday, August 14th due to the maintenance of our IT network and servers.
